A friend of the Trust, Eric Desheemaeker, ran the half marathon at Tewkesbury on Sunday 10th May 2009 to raise funds for the Trust. Unfortunately the weather got the better of him and Eric collapsed from heat stroke just before the finishing line. Thank fully he has made a full recovery and went on to run the last wee bit 4 days later. Former Student highlighted in the National Geographic
Former student, Malik Marjan Doka, has recently been featured in the National Geographic Magazine. Malik studied at The University of Kent for a one year Masters in Conservation Biology in 1997/98. Windle then sponsored him to do a six-month internship with Kenya Wildlife Services. This provided him with valuable practicle experience in line with his field of study.
